Nou allereerst.. WELCOME BACK!
Hope you enjoy!

Can you introduce yourself to our Spotted Style followers? Who are you and how would you describe yourself?
I am a very spontaneous, enthusiastic and healthy girl that is very persistence. I won’t stop until I have reached my goals and always try to challenge myself to get more out of life. Besides that I am a very sportive girl that absolutely loves healthy food. That became the reason to start running my very own foodblog called www.hungryforhealthyfood.com
What are you hobbies and biggest passions?
Healthy cooking/eating/baking, sports and travelling the world discovering new places and meeting new people
When and how you started your modelling career? Were you scouted by somebody?
I was scouted when I was 14, way too young for my Mom (and I do agree). After that a friend of my sister was a model and now runs her own agency (Tjarda Models) she made my very first pictures as a “model”. I started doing some commercials and small stuff and signed up with an agency when I was a bit older.
Did modelling influence or change your life? If yes, in what way?
Yes definitely. I became very independent, travelling all over the world on your own is quite a thing it teaches and changes you in many different ways. When I was studying I was drinking lots of sweet disgusting white wine haha and just eating so much crap! I was sick all the time and look at me now. I know everything you need to now about having a healthy lifestyle travel and I learned that during my time as a model. Maintaining a healthy looking body is the most important thing for a model I guess. And I always loved to travel and thanks to modelling I have really travelled the world.
Are you doing catwalks? Have you walked a show for Fashion week?
Yes absolutely love it, I did. In the Netherlands I did a few shows during AIFW and in Berlin I walked the Hugo Boss show once.
What are the biggest campaigns/brands you have done and worked for?
Replay, Hugo Boss, Wrangler, Men’s Health Netherlands, Bebe, American Swiss Jewelry Campaign, Glamour Netherlands, Avantgarde, Brunotti, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
Have you ever dreamed to be a model?
Not really until I was scouted and got curious about having a modelling life
What does it takes to be a successful model?
Staying positive, eating healthy, sporting regularly and stay motivated all the time
How do you stay in shape and do you have beauty tips for our Spotted Style followers?
Don’t just do cardio, do some light weight training as well to sculpt your body, although sporting is great, abs are mostly made in the kitchen. Eat what you need, not just what you (think you) crave
One thing that you love most about modelling?
To travel and meet new people and discover amazing places
What is fashion for you? How would you describe your own style?
I love fashion, I shop too much and I am always reading lots of magazines regarding fashion. I have now idea how to describe my style. You will most likely see me walking around in black, although I try to add some more colours.
If we spot you randomly on the street, what would be your daily outfit?
Probably a black ripped jeans, boots, a big grey shirt, my favourite leather jacket and a big scarf.
What is your must-have for the season?
My flaired jeans that will make your legs look even longer.
Fashion/ beauty icon that you admire?
The Olsen Twins regarding style and I guess there is only one beauty icon I would admire, Doutzen Kroes.
What makes you laugh and what makes you happy?
Being around my boyfriend, family and friends makes me feel incredibly happy, which isn’t easy because my best friends live all over the world and I am all over the world so I don’t get to see my family all the time. So the time we spend together makes me feel incredibly happy. The beginning of the year I was in Cape Town for work, my boyfriend visited me and I could finally show him my own little build up modelling life and we were together as well. That made me over the moon happy.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I love Pinterest, browsing images checking out magazines for fashion or for new recipes.
How do you see life through your eyes?
I am a very, very, lucky girl and I guess I should appreciate that a bit more once and a while.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt until now from the school of life?
Live the most out of your life and don’t you ever say you will start tomorrow, just start right now.
The things that are worth fighting for are?
Being healthy and happy.
3songs from your playlist
Hold Back the River – James Bay
The Hanging tree – remix on spotify
Listen to the man – George Ezra
5facts that we don’t know about you?
I am a sucker for Dutch candy called “drop”, good red wines and cheeses.
Of course I don’t always eat 100% healthy as you all would probably think I would
I have the tendency to speak before I think, so sometimes I am saying something in my enthusiasm what was most likely something I could have better kept to myself!
Travelling to the United States is the very, very first thing on my want-to-do list, never have been there!
How do you imagine the future, what does it hold for you?
I try as much as possible to not think about the future, I will just go with the flow and will see what will cross my path.
If you could tell something to the whole world what it would be?
Worry less and just enjoy life as much as you can!
